Whoos your Valentine projects

Happy January!
Remember the Whoo's Your Valentine kit promoted by Close To My Heart in December?
Well it was such a big hit, they continued it through January or until it is sold out.
Here is a project I made using the cute owls and background stamps from the kit.
It is a drink holder that was so super simple to make.
It takes 3 sheets of cardstock to make the holder and then just a few extra pieces to decorate. I'm so in love with this set!

Cut two 9.5" x 9.5" pieces of White Daisy card stock. Score at 3" on all sides of each piece. Fold. Unfold, then cut on 2 of the fold lines, up to the first score line, on one side then the opposite side of the paper.
Then fold into a perfectly square box! You'll have two boxes. Glue each box together with tacky tape or Bonding Memories Glue. Then glue the two boxes together on one side.

Cut two 3.5" x 8" pieces of white card stock. Round the two top corners with corner rounder. Punch a whole at the top of each piece with a 2" scallop punch. Glue together at the top with tacky tape, then place these two pieces inside one edge of each of the two boxes...this is the handle and will hold the boxes together. I also glued the flaps to the boxes for added security.

Cut two pieces of Black CS: 6.5" x 2.5". Then cut two more pieces of Black CS: 2.5" x 2.75"(for the ends).

Cut two pieces of White Daisy cardstock (or, you could use a cute piece of B&T here): 6.25" x 2.25" and then cut two more pieces of White Daisy card stock (or B&T paper): 2.25" x 2.5"(again for the ends)

Adhere the White Daisy pieces onto to the Black CS pieces...decorate...then adhere these whole pieces onto each side of the boxes (that are now glued together.)

Voila! Easy yet adorable Valentine treat!
There is still time to get your Whoo's your Valentine kit for only $10. Ask me how!

Enjoy your day,
-D
