Last night was our June Close To My Heart workshop.
We made 2 non-traditional cards and a gift box.
This first one is called a honeycomb style card. I used 24-2 1/2 inch hearts cut out using my Cricut, trimmed the points off the bottom, sponged the tops with Pear ink and the bottoms with Holiday Red ink and glued them together to make an apple.
This one is called a triangle card that uses 3-4 1/4x4 1/4 inch squares
with 3-4x4 inch squares for the patterned paper and glued together to
make a triangle. The ladies in our workshop came up with some cool ideas
for this fun shaped card. Maybe a party hat? Or Christmas trees? The
possibilities are endless!
This one is a sample of a more simple version.
And then, our last project was a Thank You gift filled with yogurt covered cinnamon pretzels. The cut out in front was cut with the Cricut.
